Langhe Favorita DOC – Pure Favorita Langhe Favorita wine
The Langhe Favorita Wine di Marenco wine is produced in purity, 100% Favorita. Langhe Favorita DOC is one of the Langhe’s “classic” whites wines grown in the hills of Novello facing south and south-east. Extraordinarily complex, fruity and persistent Favorita Langhe White wines.
The characteristics of the Langhe Favorita DOC – Marenco’s Favorita wine:
VARIETY: 100% Favorita.
CULTIVATION OF THE VINEYARD: Low Guyot system on medium-slope hills with medium-textured clayey-calcareous soil.
YIELD PER HECTARE: 65 hectoliters.
HARVEST PERIOD: 1/10 September.
VINIFICATION: Immediate pressing upon transfer to the cellar. Decantation of the solid substances in suspension for about 14 hours. Fermentation at a temperature of about 16/18° C Racking off after fermentation.
AGING: First transfer after 5 days, storage in AISI 316 stainless steel tanks.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Straw yellow color with greenish reflections, delicate and fine aroma. Soft, fresh and very harmonious flavour, slightly bitter aftertaste.
GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS: Classic throughout the meal that goes well with fish, raw meats and appetizers.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 6° – 8° C
AGEING: No type of aging is foreseen.
